Life’s Ups and Downs (Poem)
Life is a journey, with its share of highs and lows
Moments of joy, and times that make us go slow
We search for answers, but sometimes they’re hard to find
And we’re left with just our hearts, and our minds
We’ve all been broken, at some point or another
We’ve all felt lost, like we’re wandering in the weather
But still we hold on, to hope in our hearts
And we keep on moving, though it tears us apart
We’ve all got scars, from the times we’ve been hurt
But those scars remind us, of the times we’ve been brave enough to start
We’ve all got stories, of our own struggles and strife
But those stories make us stronger, and give us a reason to thrive
Life’s not always easy, but it’s worth the fight
We’ll rise up from the ashes, like a phoenix in the night
We’ll find our way, through the darkness and the pain
And we’ll emerge stronger, like the sun after the rain
And when we look back, on the journey we've made
We'll see the beauty, in the mistakes we've played
We'll see the growth, in the struggles we've faced
And we'll know that we're stronger, in this endless, precious place.
